You're a Directorate officer secretly running one Balkan country as your career evaluation. Build towns on the real map, cut deals and covert work abroad, and push the border when talking stops. Every bonus is a visible multiplier, and the review comes every year.
Every frame is a screenshot of the current build · Godot 4.7 · 1920×1080 · 00:00 / 00:38
11countries to run, each with its own strength and weakness, on borders and rivers from Natural Earth
4seasons a year: food comes in at ×1, ×1.25, ×0.5 and ×0. Stock for winter or starve
1desk move a season: a deal, covert work abroad, a claim on the border. The town plans run by themselves
2failed yearly reviews in a row and you are recalled. Pass them and climb four ranks to Deputy Director
How it plays
Build it, scheme for it, hold it
Three verbs, and under each one a number taken from the rules as they stand, not invented for the page.
Build
Sketch a whole town for free, then commit the plan. Roads join up by themselves; workshops and markets make nothing without a road back to the town hall. Food comes in with the season, so you stock for the cold.
food ×1 · ×1.25 · ×0.5 · ×0 by season

Scheme
One desk move a season. Trade at a foreign factory, bribe its manager, stake a claim on the border. Every odd is on the card before you click. Corruption is always the faster option, and your score pays for it.
score × (1 − corruption ÷ 200)

Hold the line
Ten rival desks grow, scheme and press your border. Relations drift, tension climbs from Calm to Crisis, and when talking stops you push one cell at a time, every factor of the odds shown.
odds = yours ÷ (yours + theirs)

What's new
The build, as it stands
Follow the build. Every post is one real change, shown before and after. The first devlog clip comes with the first capture session; until then the trailer above is the footage.
Build of 2026-10-23 · the frontier: land that changes hands
Playable today
Eleven countries on borders, rivers and relief from Natural Earth; capitals of 48×32 tiles after their real places
Towns with seasons, roads that join up, mayors, unrest, the mayor's cousin's firm and the cost of corruption
Villages, factories, airfields and outposts with their own buildings; trade and covert work at every foreign site
Dispatches with costs and odds; relations, tension and feuds between desks; a 29-node career tree
The frontier: land that changes hands, staked claims, and war with supplies, pushes and peace terms
Three difficulty presets, procedural late-night jazz and synthesized sound, autosave every season
Next on the desk
A prominent seat of government in each capital, in that country's own architecture, and the real landmarks
Richer towns: sun shadows, shaded roofs, textured ground, moving water, a colour grade per season
Many more building styles and multi-tile landmarks
The first Windows build to download
Captured from a development build (Godot 4.7, 1920×1080). The trailer is the game's screenshots in motion, with the game's own music. Large towns were played by the test bot. Nothing is mocked up.

Eleven countries, eleven ways to play it
Each desk has a strength and a weakness written into the rules. The flags are drawn without coats of arms, on purpose. The first devlog plays one of them; which one is the first poll.
